Our 1st and 2nd graders became book detectives in the media center! After scanning into the library and crawling under crime scene tape, they investigated evidence from our most wanted books. Was it water or food damage, ripped pages, a pet attack, or scribbles? They had a TON of fun learning about responsible book care and solving these book crimes!

The Plainfield School District Foundation for Excellence is excited to announce that District 202 Family Night with the Chicago Wolves will take place on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026!
A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit the Foundation, supporting scholarships, teacher grants, and special programs for our students and staff.
Each ticket purchased through our offer includes a free Wolves hat.
Stick around after the game for an autograph session with select Wolves players.

Second grade students had fun learning about repeated addition and created arrays using
M & M’s. Hands-on activities are not only fun, they help students build a deeper understanding of math concepts!
Plainfield East High School Girls Flag Football is excited to host a Girls Flag Football Clinic on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the PEHS Stadium.
This clinic is open to ALL girls in grades 3-6. You do not need to attend a Plainfield East HS feeder school, live within the Plainfield East attendance boundaries, or even attend a District 202 school.
We welcome girls from throughout the community who would like to learn more about flag football and have some fun!
The clinic will be led by our PEHS Girls Flag Football players and coaches. Participants will learn and practice basic football skills, including throwing, catching, running with the ball, and more through a fun, game-based format.
Clinic Details:
• Saturday, September 19
• 1-2:30 p.m.
• Plainfield East High School Stadium
• $25 registration fee
• Clinic T-shirt included
• All equipment provided
• Parents are welcome to stay and watch
• No previous football experience is necessary
