Keep the excitement going by joining us next week for Math & Literacy Night as we celebrate finishing The Wild Robot! Enjoy interactive math games, reading activities, robot coding, t-shirt making, an inflatable obstacle course, food trucks, and a free book for every attending student.

Our Book Fair starts tomorrow! Students will preview and and bring home their wish lists Thursday and Friday, and then shop during the school day Wednesday, November 4- Friday November 6.
Families can shop during conferences:
3:00pm - 8:00pm on November 2
8:00am - 1:00pm on November 3
You will also be able to pre-order the new Dog Man book, which releases on November 3rd!

The staff and students will use the sidewalk around the east side of the building. If you are planning on attending the parade, please park your vehicle behind the school. Families should not park in the Aux Sable parking lot as it will interfere with their dismissal.
After the parade, we will ask that all cars be moved to open our parking lot for our dismissal procedures.

They church members filled backpacks with the supplies, which will be given to District 202 students in need through the Care Closet.
Church members Brian and Dalia Pustz, and Senior Pastor Craig Arnold unloaded the donations on October 15,, 2026.
“The Care Closet exists to help ensure our students have access to the things they need, and your generosity will make a real difference in helping so many children start the school year feeling prepared, supported, and ready to succeed,” said Christina Edwards, District 202 director of Health Services, who oversees the Care Closet.

So far, our reading challenge tasks are:
Camouflage: Decorate your picture using natural or household items like grass, twigs, paper scraps, or crayons.
Build a Nest: Construct a mini nest using cotton balls, craft sticks, leaves, string or whatever you can find to keep a pretend baby gosling safe!

Students in grades K–3 got to hear author Matt de la Peña and illustrator Loren Long talk about their writing and illustration processes and participate in a fun directed drawing activity! What a fun experience!
