Plainfield South High School to induct 2 individuals, team into athletic Hall of Fame

Plainfield – Plainfield South High School will honor two individuals and one team at its 2023 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, in the main gymnasium, 7800 W. Caton Farm Road.

The 2023 PSHS Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are:

• Paige Boivin, 2009 graduate and volleyball standout at PSHS and Nova Southeastern University. Boivin was the Southwest Prairie Conference Most Valuable Player in 2008 and three-time All-Area athlete.
• Edvina Presniakovas, a 2012 graduate and basketball standout. Presniakovas is the District 202 all-time points leader, captain of the only PSHS basketball team to win the SPC, and is a two-time SPC MVP.
• The 2006 undefeated and SPC champion PSHS football team The ceremony will be during the halftime of the boys’ varsity basketball game in the school’s main gym.

A committee chose these recipients based on their achievements and contributions to the PSHS athletic program.
