Vision Statement:

The Media Center is the heart of the school, where a community of learners collaborate to learn, explore, and create.  It is a place that empowers students and teachers to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and risk-takers.  

Mission Statement:

The mission of our school Library Media Center is to collaborate with teachers and students to develop learning experiences that support and extend the district curriculum.  Instruction utilizes, materials and information that satisfy curiosity and allow students to become skilled researchers and enthusiastic readers. 

Overdue Books

  • Books that are not returned after two weeks are considered overdue.
     

  • If a student has an overdue book, he/she may not check out another book until the overdue book is returned.
     

Lost or Damaged Books

  • Students are encouraged to be responsible in caring for books; however, if a book is lost or damaged to the point where it cannot be circulated, parents are notified of the cost of the book.
     

  • When payment is made for a lost or damaged book, the student may again check out books from the Media Center.
